Laundry
I was going to blog about this yesterday but I went on an unexpected shopping trip to get some extra presents for a certain family member.
So, yesterday, I was sort of bored, and my mom thought that I had nothing to do ( which wasn't the case, I just didn't want to do anything) so she gave me some chores to do with my brother. The chore, folding laundry. Now, for those of you that don't no, I hate doing laundry ( and I am bad at it but who cares.). My brother and I can't help but to throw all of the clothes at each other while we are doing laundry ( I don't know why, it's just a habit.) It took us forty-five minutes to do a load that should have only taken us five minutes. My mom by then was starting to think that maybe she should have done the laundry instead but then decided to use our crazyness to her advantage and told us that we couldn't do anything other than laundry until we finished a load in the time it should take us. I know that sounds impossible but me and my brother can do almost anything if we are threatened with alot of laundry so we finished the next load with around five minutes to spare ( It probably should have taken us around seven minutes, we did it in around two!). My mom was very impressed and didn't want to give up her really good helpers just then so she used her " power of making kids do whatever she wants them to do" and made us move the next loads of laundry from the washer to the dryer and from the hall to the washer. After that, Will and I used our "power of running away from parents before they can use that other power I just talked about that I don't want to type all over again". Any ways this just goes to show that if you do things the way your parents or superior person wants you to the first time, you probably won't have to do extra work.
Thanks for reading,
Jack

Just think of it as your mom preparing you for the working world. You are learning "time management" skills. :)
